#MonochromeMonday is such a good excuse to experiment with combinations of the core tools. This blend of b&w warm + film followed by warmth and tint adjustments really highlighted yellow tones. Adding a white vignette gave it a daguerreotype quality I found appealing. Fun. •2017 •Minneapolis

The smoke from distant forest fires that's been hovering over the city for the past several days feels especially heavy today. It seems you can quite literally see the air today, and my eyes feel like there's grit in them.

I used a double filter (mono-copy-dramatic warm) for #MonichromeMonday #MCM today. In color, sunblock+sweat often gives my skin a smooth metallic sheen. In two-filter mono, I think that effect went, unexpectedly, to somewhat bronze-like. Cool. (original in comments) •June 2024 •Minneapolis
