I watched the 3b1b video about this Escher drawing and I think its incredible that he was able to do this by hand but this piece also just kinda annoys me cause I don't think the illusion actually works well without the middle part that explains what's happening

"save files shouldn't ever get corrupted, I am handling all the edge cases" colliding with reality because even a super tiny percent of faulty hard drives or ram times 1.5 million people playing means many save files will get corrupted out of my control. next patch should have an error message

fun little tidbit about the Mewgenics tutorial. First iteration of the tutorial had Pebbles' Boulder Drop do 50 damage. There was usually a visceral negative reaction to this, "that seems unfair". Changing it to 999 fixed the problem entirely as that reads as "scripted death"

Next Mewgenics patch will be a few small bug fixes, and pushed early next week. After that a beta branch will be set up for future bug fix patches. I basically didn't take any days off (including on weekends) in the month leading up to launch, so I need a bit of recovery time
