Corey Landis has posted email exchanges between himself and the representatives for HoYoVerse where he makes it clear he was not communicated with re: his being replaced, and also? He refused to sign paperwork that, in his words, was not industry standard.

In a just world this would lead to Corey's colleagues in the cast standing by him publicly, but sadly I imagine more than half of them are too scared of backlash from the fandom/company to do so. It shouldn't be that way. I get why it is. But this kind of treatment of VAs should not be happening.

At this point even if every single English voice actor came out to say Hoyo treats them like shit, the fandom would insist they were all acting unprofessionally and that’s somehow worse. If all you care about is decorum and not the wellbeing of actors? You’re licking an ugly pair of boots.
