Hours before departing to con, I'm trying to relax. And the best way is to sketch. I'm drawing a bug elf called a Weeshee. Weeshees are not based on a particular bug, but rather on a biological phenomenon of mimicry. I mean pouyannian mimicry to be exact, especially noticed in orchids! #sketch #art

Last concept art of the mosquito. Each one has a "tail", an external stomach, that fills up after they feast. They stay happy for as long as the stomach is full, and then then need to hunt for another victim. They are a odd version of vampires, basically. And yes. They do sparkle. HOAHO-
