Yes, I'm still around. The past year's been tough, on top of -hand wavy- all the everything. My body is starting to cooperate and let me get back to the gym. And this morning, as I got home from the gym, a thing I forgot I'd ordered arrived. And I like how it looks and feels.

I thought some folks might like an update on my back work. 2 hours of work on his head last Saturday. That brings the total hours of back-stabbery to 14. There's at least 2 more sessions before the body is done. Another 2 to do shadow and any highlighting/outlining.

I was thinking about using my laptop w/ webcam to record the next session of tattoo inking, because apparently a GoPro overheats really darned quick if it doesn't have air flowing over it constantly, even at lower res and slower framerates. Anyone have alternate suggestions?

I wonder: how many guys who’ve been tattooed get verbal/vocal about the pain. Cussing, growling, etc. That parts in my armpit and the scar right over the spine *really* hurt. The scar is right where the wing meets the dragons body.

Woke up this morning after 13 hours of sleep. The idea for this started as a small armband about 20 years ago, and every time I thought about it, it got bigger. The outline took 3 hours, w/ 3 5-minute breaks. The first coloring session is in 4 weeks. Nice for a first tattoo, I think.

Today’s tattooing is almost done. He’s working on the dragon’s neck and head now. Ow. 
Will schedule the coloring in a few weeks after this heals. Ps, this is my first tattoo.
