UPDATE: I cried. It was the afternoon I needed for over ten years. We had a great time and we even called my cousins. Their faces of surprise were PRICELESS. It felt amazing to get part of my family back.

This post is more on the personal side. I left my mother's family 11 years ago, but today, I'm meeting up with my aunt, who has always been a caring, loving family member. I'm incredibly excited to see her after all these years. I might cry today, but I'll cry in joy.

I'm aroace and extremely sex-averse and human body-averse and would love to NEVER see NSFW content ever again, but I *know* that not everyone feels like me.
