The term universal health care is not accurate regarding changing our current system. It's universal health insurance. Under a single payer, medicare for all system, it's only the insurance component that is a government program. The health care, doctors, hospitals, etc remain in the private sector.

So we the tax payers, subsidize the private for-profit health insurance industry. Seems like we could just take that tax money and pay for the care directly instead of sending it to the insurance companies to leach out their cut. We need public health insurance now.

A little secret to happiness. Turn off the podcast and turn on some music. Not always, podcasts can provide great information but music can change your day. I find especially during commutes, music is the way.

Sometimes artists/musicians have a hard time evaluating their own work. When asked if it's good, they are asking because they can't tell, likely too involved to have perspective. Best way to answer is honestly, even if they are little hurt, it's a huge help in improving.

Usually I turn off the game music, and play other music on a separate speaker. Leaving game sound effects and ambience on through the TV. Much better experience and can really change the feel of a game. Elden Ring and Talking Heads is truly something special.
