Watched the film "Yesterday" yesterday on Netflix and it is the first film in a long while that has made me laugh. It is a very well made "British" comedy. Danny Boyle directs and the writer is Richard Curtis so the pedigree is good 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐

Todays fun task, installing Ubuntu on an old laptop that is not capable of running Windows 11 and currently performs like a sloth on morphine. After a couple of hours I now have a fully functioning Linux laptop which boots in seconds and is running a multitude of different apps quite happily 👍

I worked as part of the technical support team analyzing the proposals submitted for a previous incarnation of this work back in 1989. As part of the project I ended up going on a army comms exercise in West Germany to observe the current comms in use. I hope things have improved since then.
