Went to the Hong Kong palace museum today with my mom, hit up the islamic exhibitions and omg they're so prettyyyyyy Also the internal realisation I had of how much I'm a bg coded person because the things I liked the most were the floor tiles 😂

I went out yesterday and the Splatoon 3 artbook was available and I didn't see it last time so I got it and it's the most inspiring BG art dense book in ever and I love it Also a bunch of funny Lego things I saw

What I'm determining out of Lego batman the videogame is that they went all in on the environment design for the villain half so it's visually way more fun to look at Then batman just gets Regular Streets

the project I'm working on rn I decided to make a mood board for it since it's a subject matter I've never drawn before, and it's interesting to make one now and compare it to when I tried making them when I was in school + art college

love being in the middle of drawing and then my apple pencil decides to die and nothing I do can revive it even though it recharges and connects properly 🔥

I got a new ergo keyboard cuz I was finally sick of the old one constantly dying on me and man when the front of the keyboard is lifted at a good angle to type downward, it's soo comfy

My doujima purchases this year were half skewed to vocaloids and it was a great time 😌

collected my prints and envelopes yesterday and have more time than expected so gonna see if I can last minute an eraser stamp design for the envelopes 🔥

I realise this contradicts what I said about having completed inks for 6 pieces, but only 3 of them I considered good enough to polish into prints, and then this one was the next best thing (though it took a LOT of workshopping) to visual jigsaw puzzle rearrange into something I was satisfied with

there is a part of me that's like "cheryl did you seriously just decide to sell a drawing of a toilet" and I'm like but it's a good toilet....? 😂 we'll see how it goes sdkfljlksdjf

So I managed to finish the three pieces in time 👁️ no book sadly but I invested the rest of my time making these as good as possible and it's pretty worth it, I'd say XD enjoy my mega scuffed Doujima 2025 catalogue 💥✨

won't be able to finish it on time for doujima 😞 but I'll complete however much I can and sell them as A5 prints probs, too much client work these past few months and that takes priority at this stage all the stuff is inked it just needs to be coloured, but it is only 6 pieces
