If the allegations are true, The Ballmer-Kawhi story is significant because it shows the importance of true investigative journalism, which seems to be dying out. Of course it's all moot if there's no accountability or punishment.

Having said that, it makes the Thibs firing that much more questionable IMO. Chemistry and continuity shouldn't be overlooked and bringing in a new staff shakes things up. Could go either way but the #Knicks were thisclose to coming out of a much tougher East this year.

With the #Celtics and #Pacers stripping it down, it feels like a 2 team race in the East now between the #Knicks and #Cavs. #Magic, #Pistons and #Hawks should be in the mix too but still a tier below until they prove otherwise. #Sixers need to prove they can stay healthy, #Bucks are an unknown.

The longer those extension talks went, the more I thought something was up with Turner and the #Pacers. Major blow for them especially with the Hali injury. Great move for the #Bucks and a great replacement for Lopez.

True, maybe it's the frustration at the "lack" of moves but the team is coming off an ECF appearance and the roster is pretty much locked in. Got one of the best bench scorers in the league that fills a major need.
