Considering the week I had and that I lost Ginny yesterday, I'm doing ok. It's weird though b/c it made me think when I lost Luna last year and I was in the middle of psychosis & accusing various organisations of spying, her death and their plots against me. Awkward

I braved Primark for new pyjamas. Successfully purchased notebooks in Waterstones w/out buying books. My friend, Janet asked if they were prefilled notebooks - how rude! Just got to the new coffee shop & having an americano & a pear & custard cruffin

Today's plans include heading into town to try out a new coffee shop in the centre. I've also got a few bits I need to buy in town.

Truffle is in hiding but she has been out and hoovered ip all the veg I'd scattered throughout the cage

It's weird to think all things I've experienced in terms of illness, house move, work etc and that Ginny was there throughout all this stuff. Yet after so long of having her I got to see another side of her in the last few months with how she mothered Truffle

It is days like this that I wish I had my own outside space (with grass for guineas to munch on, of course). It is beautiful but I'm also too lazy to go in the park this afternoon. Time for music and my Switch and a can of pre-mixed vodka cocktail b/c I'm living it large lol

People keep saying “oh so you want OPEN BORDERS” as some kind of gotcha and like. Yeah. When I was a kid you could just drive into Canada. On accident, even. It was great, and I think we should do that instead of kidnapping children. Normalize being normal instead of being kidnapping weirdos

I recently dealt with a case where two shop assistants got stabbed by a lady with severe mental health issues causing a ruptured bicep. They were not aware she had a knife. Please do not follow this advice.

The pet funeral place in Bolton who I used for Luna (& mum used for Pepe) is going to collect Ginny today. They will call me in a couple of hours to arrange collection

Ginny has died. She has been looking older lately and had dramatic hair loss the last few days (she had a vet appointment booked about it). She was up this morning but just spotted her now and she's passed. She was nearly 7.

The week's work trauma is behind me. I slept well. It's sunny. It's the weekend 🙌 Hoping for a much more pleasant day today

Positives this week? * Despite it being pretty horrific adjusting back to being at work, I did make it through. * My new glasses make reading much easier again. * I've got a private therapist starting next week (& hopeful it will be a useful therapeutic relationship)

I had suspected this week would be hard after nearly 2 weeks annual leave. Correct! I Told myself no vodka cocktail can/s, just to be cautious. That's me sipping another 0% Heineken. I might buy 1-2 for tomorrow or Saturday night as a treat if I feel a little more steady.

I've got an upsetting/stressful thing going on for a member of extended family. I just want to fix it for them. I don't want them to struggle so much. That has tipped me over the edge tears wise with a bit of a nightmare at work yesterday and today. Going to pop music & Switch on

It's going to be a ghost town at work today. Just me and our debt adviser in adviser wise until the supervisor gets back from an outreach this afternoon. I think we have a volunteer to man the doors. Lots of clients still to see though

I've got an oven pizza in the fridge. I was going to have it after tomorrow's full day in the office but I am feeling crappy so going to pop the oven on to pre-heat for it now

It's one of those rare days when I think I'd benefit from a shower to try and wash away the day. I'm not washing my hair though.

At least I got to wear a pretty dress today. One of my managers noticed my nose piercing (no one else did lol) & said it really suits me.

Just finished Zoom with potential therapist. She was really warm and friendly and down to earth. Told her re being gaslit years ago w DBT and not sure how things will work going forward (& she wasn't surprised re DBT btw). She uses a number of methods depending on what helps best for ppl for...
