That 1992-98 run for Jackie Chan movies though. Instant childhood nostalgia high for me. Watched these titles upwards of 30 plus times back when: Supercop, Twin Dragons, Drunken Master, Rumble in the Bronx, First Strike, Mr. Nice Guy, Who Am I?, Rush Hour.

It’s been about two months, and I’ve never been more conflicted over whether or not I’d want a sequel to a movie as I am with Sinners.

Little amuses me more than the reactions of the regular hotel guests to the Convention crowd, having no idea what they were walking into when they decided on a nice little weekend getaway/out of town sporting event.

Sometimes it feels like all of my best story ideas happen when I have to choose between putting them in my Notes app or losing them to sleep, & the first thought that hits my paranoid ass every time that decision rears its ugly fangs is—always choose story over sleep, even for the smallest addition.

After a little bit of a rework, I’m over 25K words on the horror WIP. As I mostly discovery write, I don’t really have a good read yet on how much story remains, but if I had to guess, I’d say I’m nearing, if not just past, the 50% mark.

Author nerd out moment. The hardback of TGC IV: Until the Crows Delight came in today. My weekend’s made and it hasn’t even started yet. And she’s a beaut!

Been having a lot of ‘stuck in a hotel labyrinth’ dreams lately. I think my WIP is officially starting to affect my sleep. I take this as a sign I’m on the right path.
