This goes to the current era of young artists Tutorials and guides that teach how to get better at art on a fundamental level are not a personal attack aimed at you. You need to learn fundamentals if you want to push your art to new heights, you don't have to do it however.

Stop worrying about your art style it's irrelevant to improvement. Your work will evolve organically, and style is just repetition+time. If you want to get really good, you gotta DRAW CONSTANTLY. There are no shortcuts. If you aren't drawing and learning from mistakes, you aren't going to improve.

Honestly my favorite part of making this painting was using the 'rake' brush to give some noise to the painting. I really want to apply more stylistic choices in my work, both studies and original.
