Quite frankly, itās outrageous that Mark Carney is cutting Statistics Canada. If he was Stephen Harper or Pierre Poilievre, I feel like this would be getting a lot more backlash. Carney of all people should know the importance of high-quality data and information about the country.

N.B. Power 'not alarmed' by power needs of data centres, but wants flexibility? Sounds like alarm to me. Data centre demand can't be allowed to put supply to other users at risk. Either generate more of their own power or look at wind / batteries from 3rd parties.
