@alexhedgefox.bsky.social actually asked the character's creator, long time Archie Sonic writer Mike Gallagher, about his Sonic work. Apparently, Gallagher doesn't appear to claim his Sonic characters, which he said in this correspondence from 2017:

So, turns out Antoine isn't the only Archie Sonic Reboot character to have their text strings altered to add card effects. Both Bunnie Rabbot and Corral the Betta got similar treatment in last week's #SonicBlitz update. Again, this was datamined by @alexhedgefox.bsky.social
