Just finished my nail appointment where I had a direct view of my double locked, battery-removed ebike from the window. I’ve had 3 friends this past week, have their bikes stolen. The guys had angle grinders and they were locked on busy streets but no one spoke up or tried to stop them 🫩

When a Union wins, workers everywhere benefit. Air Canada had no intention of negotiating in good faith....not until the union defied the return-to-work order, and held the line. Then suddenly the bosses got a deal on the table in a matter of hours. Solidarity forever! The Union makes us strong.

I’m so proud of the Air Canada crew defying the govt and continuing the strike! I have travel plans booked for next month and they could be affected but so be it. If they’re so essential then pay them like they are! I can’t believe they went this long not being paid for work outside of the flight.

My phone just reminded me that on this day in 2020 I randomly decided to buy dessert for the overnight crew from McDonald’s. 3am order for 12 mcflurries 2 cones and 3 sundaes (1 with peanuts) AND IT ALL ARRIVED PERFECTLY! One for the books.

Back from a week in Holguín Cuba 🇨🇺 and I’m so depressed. 5 star hotel still = hotdogs for most meals. Public beach = people literally begging for food/clothes/shampoo(!)/ ANYTHING YA GOT 😔 It made me so sad and grateful for my life. But mostly sad. Beautiful island and people but they are down bad
