Doll update: gave them new eyes! I bought these to test out the sizing (18mm/8mm) and they're perfect! Next step is to dye the doll! Probably won't start until the semester ends but we'll see ^^ I have to re-research how to do it to make sure I don't make any major mistakes when I get to it.

I can confirm the string/stitch was infact cut after seeing it for myself. I can also confirm that I no longer feel any string in my gum at all now. Which means it fell out. Luckily there was no blood so I am just going to assume it's fine for now.

There was this long stitch in my mouth that's been bugging me because it got stuck between two of my molars and I think I accidentally cut it because it feels a lot shorter now 😬

I think I'm getting better but my upper jaw kinda hurts without the pain meds 😔

Wisdom teeth were taken out this morning. I feel okay for the most part but my jaw is SO sore and I feel a teeny bit nauseous atm

I'm considering how to redesign Lazuli's tail.... I do like it as is now but simplifying it a bit or at least making the patterns more symmetrical will probably be better in the long run

On another note I can't stand to look at Lazuli's old ref because the anatomy is ABISMAL!!!! What was I thinking?! I'm way happier with the new one because now her tail is the right length and her arms aren't as freakishly long

I finally finished playing beast yeast ep 8 and I love love love Black Sapphire Cookie so so much AAGH It's the kind of love for a character I haven't felt since I was enamored by Gladion when I played Pokemon Moon back in middle school 😭 that's really crazy honestly

still working on the updated version but the difference in her tail size compared to torso is crazy 😭 she's practically all tail now LMAO but she's supposed to be ~13 ft in both it looks a bit off in this static pose but it'll look fine when she's actually posed in motion which is what I wanted

Turns out I just got the anatomy of the upper body wrong when I did the ref last year 😭 at least I fixed it enough for it to look okay when I make the tail longer

Trying to redo a ref for a mermaid oc and I really underestimated how long her tail would be depending on the proportion I give her. With a normal human sized upper body her tail would be a little over double her human form. And with normal proportions she'd be really big in general.

All my finals are done! Semester over!! I'M FREE!!!

Finished my art history final!!! Just one more to go!!! But I'm practically free now!!!

I have three finals left, but really only one that I'm nervous about which is my art history midterm. I want to study for it tomorrow, but I have to go on campus to spend time on finishing my painting final which is gonna take HOURS so I won't have as much time as I'd like 😔
