I played and beat Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon today. Some gameplay stuff doesn't really hold up well, but it was surprisingly pretty funny. And also a banging soundtrack. I can't really overstate how good it is. Kind of surprised to learn that the composers on it never did much else

As a former runner/world record holder of this game, this is pretty cool to see! Curious to see what Rebecca's gonna think about seeing how much you can break the game in Any% (run looks like it's scheduled 1 hour for time safety I assume, but the WR is under 30 minutes)

In Deltarune Chapter 3 Any% Speedruns, it is optimal to die against the Knight so you can skip the fight. This is a subtle reference to the identity of the Knight being Papyrus, whose fight in Undertale is also optimally completed by dying to him to skip the fight
