I ordered a pizza for the first time in ages. They let you track where the driver is. When I hit the map, it showed he was in San Francisco. I don't live in that state. 😅

I get sidetracked a lot while working. Henceforth, I've decided to call it a side quest.

I would rather a TV series release one episode per week than hold the final episode or second half hostage for a month. That is how you kill momentum, not build it.

My evening involved the fire dept pounding on my door, water flooding into my apt, alarms, and the workout of my life going up and down stairs. I'm done with arctic winters being the new norm when our pipes can't handle it. Y'all come take it back.

I haven't seen the news cover this, but does anyone know if those in Minneapolis have a plan to help their neighbors who may be sheltering in place out of fear? Getting them food or other needs? Is there an organization or are neighbors getting involved?

Sprinkle joy and goodness where you can this week. Donate to organizations you care about. Register to vote or get someone you know registered. Donate food to shelters (Or look up wish lists for shelters or sanctuaries for abuse victims). Check on a neighbor who lives alone or is elderly.

I used to hate Monday's because it was the beginning of a work week. Now I hate them because I wonder what hellscape awaits us this week.

Being stuck at home without chocolate during a winter storm was not good planning.

I feel so bad for the victim's families. Their loss is hard enough, but they will never be able to safely watch the news or surf the internet without potentionally being exposed to images or video of their child/brother/sister/partner being murdered. And then the slander from leaders...

But sometimes I just want an easy weekend.

I think now is a good time to give your kids a homework assignment by researching and reading about the gestapo and other police forces under dictators. How they formed, how they acquired power, how they violated laws, and how & why they trained their force to use brutality.
