Our shop on the left, from 45 years ago, a stonemason then. (Still run by his son from the right-hand shop). Newsagent/fishing tackle shop in the middle then a wool shop. From what my landlord sent me, it looks like the same few family businesses names were here for at least 100 years.

Painting delayed due to rain. Added a bit more variety to the card shelf since people keep asking. Must add more to the dinosaur shelf.

The shop front suffers as much from the sun as it does the rain, so I'm trying to reverse the damage. Stripped the flaky paint and treated the wood. Re-did the window sealant inside and out. Bloke from the antiques shop lent me some better tools. Felt dizzy - chemicals or forgetting to eat? Dunno.
