i will say as a weaver i’ve also always had a hang up about the distinction between arts and crafts, the latter of which basically just seems to be a devaluation of both the art and work of women

as someone who loves hardware, a few things come to mind: - this kind of trend towards reflexivity is common in many art practices - making music on the computer is just less fun - social media content rewards process fiddling - less interesting might just mean more esoteric - status signal
