The other part of it is that it's back-to-back race weekends, which is very busy. I worked about 4 hours on the overnight flight to London, did 3 more hours at Heathrow, then another 4-5 hours on the London-Doha flight, and I *still* wasn't finished when I got here at 5:00am on Wednesday morning.

I can’t even begin to tell you how jet lagged I feel after moving forward 11 time zones from the US west coast. Which means there are a LOT of very exhausted personnel in the F1 pit and paddock this weekend. Anyone who says it doesn’t affect them is lying #QatarGP 🇶🇦

To all F1 fans in the western time zones of the United States: Does the #LasVegasGP feel like **your** regional home Grand Prix, compared to Austin and/or Miami? I asked this question last year and so many people answered no!

43 years ago today I was in the Zolder paddock as a (young!) paying spectator when Gilles Villeneuve lost his life - I had tried to get his autograph before qualifying, but he ignored me and went into the Ferrari garage. Here's a pic I took at Silverstone in 1981:

As a hospitality MC, I love being able to converse with fans of all ages and experiences. This weekend I spent time explaining F1 nuance to fans at their first race, but also had a great chat about early 1970s F1 races at Mosport Park and Watkins Glen with two older fans who were there!

The last time McLaren finished 1-2 with everybody else at least half a minute behind was nearly 18 years ago (Monaco 2007, Alonso/Hamilton) #MiamiGP

I’m very sad to hear that Jochen Mass has passed away, aged 78. An #F1 GP winner (Montjuïc, ’75) & a #LeMans24Hours winner too (’89), he was a fine, versatile driver & a lovely man. Pic: 4th at Monaco, where he was always quick, in ’77, in his trusty McLaren M23. #RIPJochenMass
