I love trying to come up with mnemonics for words while learning Japanese. かんがえる (kangareru) which means to consider: CONSIDER the KANGAROO かんじる (kanjiru) which means to feel/sense: "I FEEL like it's hard to learn KANJI while RUnning" They're silly and nonsensical but it makes them stick better.

Prepped some quick Japanese pickles for the week (tsukemono). Tried a slightly new version of the cucumbers, this time with a bit more salt and added ginger. The orange bag is miso pickled carrot, haven't tried them before so excited to see how they turn out!

I've been making a maze gen editor for debugging, and it's been both more helpful and way cooler to use than I thought. It now displays a lot of information and can set the maze's seed.

I felt like making some art last night/today and could have made something beautiful and/or meaningful but I made this instead. It's a Barbie Yaga Malibu Dream Hut. No regrets. Can't defeat fascism without joy.

The fact that this movie does not get brought up is one of the greatest video game movies ever saddens me. It has its problems, but as a original story that pays homage to everything Dragon Quest I think it's fantastic. It legitimately got me into the series. #dragonquest
