No 🤷 I will keep refusing to give my money to devs who use genAI at all in any part of development. It will suck, and it means I will have to go without games that I'm really looking forward to, but I won't sacrifice my morals just because "everyone else is doing it."

I'm trying my hand at speedrunning for the first time this week and as I was testing LiveSplit last night I managed to beat New Vegas in under an hour and half! Not recorded so it's not too serious but I can definitely see the appeal of this. I'm excited to learn more this week :)

Y’all, there is no ethical use of genAI, in any capacity. No, not even if voice actors agree to have their voices used. No, not even if it’s just used for a shopping list, or brainstorming, placeholders, etc. Your actions do not exist in a bubble. Using it at all is supporting it.
