Vet thinks it is still her ears so we are doing another round of meds. Said her teeth look ok.. If this doesn’t work I will take her to VSS for a 2nd opinion.

Up hella early at the vet with the cat. She has been in a cone for about 6 weeks bc of excessive ear scratching. Hoping today we can get some answers. She has had lots of meds but nothing seems to be working. Fingers crossed. She is sick of this cone & so am I.

Just witnessed an accident at Jefferson & 44. A range rover tried to turn left w/o an arrow & smashed into a woman driving south on a green light. The range rover FLIPPED OVER, landed on its side. I stopped w another guy. Drivers were shook up but ok. emt got there quick. Cops? Not so much.

I had this old rug in the living room that was way past its usefulness so I threw it out yesterday. The dog always had his food on the rug. He was so stressed about this. Wouldn’t eat. He gets low blood sugar so now Im stressed. I just moved his plate to the other rug & he is eating fine now. 🤦🏻‍♀️

We do this everyday. My dog: nah I dont want to eat that. Proceeds to sit down looking sad. Me: rearranges the exact same food on another plate Dog: a masterpiece of culinary delight, I will eat this in one sitting & whine for more for the next 4 hours.

It’s that wonderful time of the year known as the cats of Ramadan on tiktok. Folks getting up early to eat before the sunrise & their cats are like wtf? It is so adorable. Some cats even have their own little itty bitty prayer rugs.

IBS trying to take me out this morning, I have no clue what I ate that set it off at 6am. Horrible pain. Took a Bentyl which helped w pain but knocked me out. Slept thru my StepDad calling at 11am needing a ride bc he didn’t believe me that you cant drive when your eyes are dilated. He made it home.

Update: This cone has in fact, been on for one week. The wound is healing. The trying to scratch seems to be calming down. Fingers crossed we are getting past this.

She knows I am pissed off. Hope she had a good time scratching bc this cone is not coming off again. I just want her to be BETTER & have this wound HEALED. Bc otherwise she is totally healthy & doing well. Anyone else ever deal with something like this? Vet has cleaned her ears twice this month.

my cat got out of her fucking cone while I was at work & scratched the entire healing part completely off the side of her face. It was nearly healed up. Blood all over her. I am so upset. I cleaned her up, got some meds on the sore, tightened the cone, gave her a prednisone.. god dammmmmmmmmmmit.

My animals have had me so stressed out the past few weeks: Cat has a wound from scratching her ear that is not healing well, dog was diagnosed with low glucose issue, and yesterday I was not ok. I finally fell asleep around 5am & I SLEPT slept. Feeling better today.

Just got word my former colleague from wash U, Henry Claude, has passed. He was a remarkable percussionist, led the studio musicians in dance at wash u, played for my ballet class, played for the SLSO for years, A one in a million person. Rest well Henry. You will be missed.

Day 3 of the cone on the cat. She keeps trying to scratch her bad ear & it doesn’t work. I think she keeps scratching off the scab as it heals & gets itchy. She is so frustrated, bless her heart.

My cat has been scratching her ear for 2 months. I have tried everything including 2 vet visits, tape on her back paw, meds.. I just caved & put a cone on her. Now she is having a really bad day bc she hates the cone AND cant reach her ear to scratch it. prayers for my sweet Jane.

Today is one of those news days that makes you cry for humanity. So I did that. Now i’m gonna go touch some metaphoric grass & get some lunch & try to get my head right.

I am so tired of having sinus issues.. I do steam, humidifiers, nasal spray, neti pot, decongestant, zyrtec, teas.. I started an antibiotic last night bc I was getting fatigued… this weather is too much dry air…

1st full day of work since last Thursday & your girl is tired.. lol Happy to be back to a normal schedule but I wanna thank that 2 hr nap I just took..

Had a good day. Studio is intact, cat got a good report from the vet, got recital dates clarified, Noem threw Miller under the bus, you can sense their disarray, 😉chicken tendies & fries for lunch, roads were not bad, felt so good to get out of the loft… I am grateful for a nice day.
