Rangers may very well come back in the 2nd half like last week but that was an exceptional 1st half from Motherwell. They could very easily be 4 up.

They’d appeared to have gone off the boil in recent weeks but when Motherwell play football like this I love watching them. They play exactly how I think football should be played.

And another absolute peach from Motherwell. Beautiful football.

Not expecting much from Motherwell today, think they started their holidays weeks ago. Slightly more hope for Hibs though in the Edinburgh derby.

Watching Dundee derby, I don’t get the logic of Utd’s strategy. They have just 3 Scottish players in their first team squad. And all these just about average imports. They’re in bottom 6. What’s the upside of imported journeymen rather than finding & improving homegrown talent?

A few positives in there, Maeda obviously played a big part, McGregor looked better than he has done in recent weeks, Engels had some good moments & great to have Johnston back. In saying that, absolutely have the fear for Easter Road next week 🍀

Just finished listening to the audiobook of this. An absolutely brilliant autobiography. Every minute of it was entertaining. Exactly what you want from a musician’s book, loads of wild, bizarre & reckless anecdotes. Thoroughly recommend it.

It’s horrible watching 2 games at the same time. Impossible to moderate emotionally. Celtic playing not great & winning. Everton playing pretty well up to a point & losing. I’m all over the place 🔵🍀

I’m far from Neil Lennon’s biggest fan but fair fucks to him, he gets results as a manager. Probably a couple of the bigger clubs in Scotland should have been knocking on his door in the last few years.

There’s nothing not to like about this Falkirk team. McGlynn is a great manager. And the biggest thing I like is that their squad is predominantly Scottish players that he has made better. Rather than waifs & strays from the lower leagues in England. Other teams should take note.

I say it every game but I’ll say it again anyway, I don’t care about his goals, Nygren (& he hasn’t been terrible today) makes us a worse team. He’s just no good on the ball. We’d be much better with Hatate on instead 🍀

I rate Yang really highly. Always thought there was a player there from his early games. Best player in 1st half for me. He deserves to play in a better Celtic team. He’d be amazing for us with a better quality full back, midfielder & striker to link up with 🍀

I’d just love to see us have someone trying to take the ball in the No.10 position. Behind our striker & between their defence & midfield. Like Rogic used to do. We’re always going wide & it’s too predictable 🍀

I’ve written our chances of winning the league title off during pretty much every game for the last 4 months but still I’m insisting on wearing the retro Love St 86 top to watch every game. Just in case it’s good luck. Just in case 🍀

And so the cycle begins again, by the time Saturday comes around I’ll have once again convinced myself that THIS is going to be the game where everything finally clicks into gear 🍀

There’s certain games with Trusty where he looks edgy & unsure. He sort of bounces around on his toes like he’s nervous & doesn’t know where he’s supposed to be. This is one of those games. We really need a 2nd goal before he makes a blunder 🍀

Certainly not a vintage performance so far. But we should still be 3 or 4 up 🍀

If Colby Donovan isn’t doing anything on the ball (he isn’t) then there’s really no point having him on the park. He’s really struggling defensively 🍀

Trusty already looks like this is one of those games that’s he’s going to have a nightmare. Just looks uneasy & Murray will look to bully him 🍀

I don’t watch many friendlies of any sort & only watching this England game for James Garner. Can’t get my head round the commentators. Behaving like they’ve never watched a friendly before. Yes it’s a bit rubbish & being played at half pace. Like every friendly game ever! Why gripe about it?!

Utterly miserable game. I do massively blame the pitch. But the lack of character of too many of our players is a big concern. Yeah, we’re not winning the league 🍀

Not to nitpick but the decision not to add any time on at end of half. Stoppage when the Utd player fell awkwardly (30 secs). Stoppage ahead of the free kick when Scales got booked (30 secs). So there’s a minute at least. Obvious stoppages in play. Baffling 🍀
