Thinking about returning to indie dev streaming. I haven't been because what I've been working on lately is the trailers and pitch decks. But honestly, why not stream making those? It's probably the most important part of the whole process.

for the global gamejam this year, we have such a large team that we are actually going to have a bunch of tiny teams make a series of wario ware microgames played from a hub

Here's the progress results for drawing every single day for the whole year. Some days were good, some felt worse than when I started, but here's where I ended. Each good day felt like luck, and I think I rolled well for the last piece. It's still surreal for me to look at, that I actually drew this

I've somehow managed to keep up with my drawing every day for the whole year so far. Now we're in the final week, so rather than drawing one piece or study and moving onto the next day, I'm going to try taking everything I've learned and just work on one single picture. Let's see what I can do.

One of the reasons I have the user draw an arrow from a quiver rather than just starting the arrow in the bow is that I'd like to have access to multiple types of arrows (ice to add a slow stack, bomb for aoe, fire for dot) and letting the player pick what arrows they start with and how many

one of the upsides to streaming gamedev is you get an audience of people to keep you on task. one of the downsides is you completely forget you wrote stuff like this for the bit when you're trying to refactor this garbage

I've made a way to have two people play on one headset. Rather than swapping between each individual unit, player 1 takes all of their actions, then player 2 takes all of theirs, and after both are done if any units have 0 HP _then_ they die. Stops constant headset swapping AND first turn advantage.
