Still sick so still pushing the backlog. HG Draken E from gundam base, featuring the tiny little 1/144 Draken E from the gm sniper 2 kit. I love chunky little power loaders so much. If there's 100 Petite-Mobile fans in the world I am one of them, if there's only one petit-mobile fan it's me.

HG Nobell berserker, one of my favorites of all time! She comes together just like the regular HG Nobell but her colors are all tinted by the 'hacks your brain and makes you rage' aura. I love her.

I built big gun zaku's big gun! Not particularly interesting to put together, and like all HGTB it had twice it's weight in stickers, but I really like how the boy looks when he's properly stanced up behind this thing.

My final gundam backorder of 2024 finally got here so I had to build him. It's HG Zaku TB and his Big Gun (not yet built). Enough deviation from the hguc zaku to make a different experience even before the 100 stickers it asks you to put on, but I like his weapon storage a whole lot.

Had some of the experiences of a lifetime, forged bonds stronger than steel that can reach across mountains, and followed an impulse that will leave an indelible positive mark on my mind and body for the rest of my life. What a week it has been.

Forgot to take pictures of this guy during the build process but gqux Gyan was actually really fun to build. Still a lot of stickers on round parts which seems the signature of the gqux line, but minus a few small ones for the arms they were all easily applied and look good.

More backlog arriving that I ordered half a year ago before I got super busy, now I'm looking at a towering pile of boxes and wondering where to start making a dent in it again.

Trying to get to some newer (and theoretically simpler) backlog items, and boy was the Gqux Zaku not simple. The shapes are lovely and he comes together just fine, but there are *so many* curved stickers on round parts, and the adhesive was basically zero on them! Markfit to the rescue I suppose.

Just finished a Lancer game that ran 4 and a half years do not AMA.

The thing about being almost done running a Lancer game of four-ish years from LL0-7 and 6-12+ is that I have allowed myself to steep in the mecha genres and let those brainworms fester. Now I'm looking at things like Spire and Heart, I've gotta start reading old pulp noir and sword&sorcery more.

I don't always post my sword and sorcery-enjoyer stuff on here. But I just got my issues #5-7 of @newedgeswordmag.bsky.social and the cover story for #5 was done by the awesome, witty, and talented @minillajovovich.bsky.social. shout-out to a writer who has only delivered bangers in my experience

Putting some pressure on the backlog for the end of year with another peebs kit, the HG AoZ Re-Boot Reben Wolf! AoZ kits come together so interestingly, and this one has a fun gimmick where the ankles are geared to flex the vernier nozzles and feet together. Cool guy.

So I've been sorta running two simultaneous games of Lancer weekly for like. Four years? Fucked up to think that I'm gonna finish that in like 4 weeks and then have two extra nights of the week for other stuff for a while.

Woundwort partially complete! Now I'll have a second bunny to go with the psycho blade, and it'll help motivate me to paint the fingers on both. AoZ kits come together so nicely, they're so shaped.

Baffling choice for them to separate the inner frame and led from the armor kits and put them in a blind box setup for the ms mechanical bust kits. Luckily I got the exact combo I wanted (clear armor kit, inner frame with LED) in the two boxes I picked up. It's a cute desk toy though!

I always set a percent limit on how barbie I can be in a day to still maintain my butch cred but I did spend two hours changing outfits and taking selfies so I think I went a little over my 28% bimbo budget.

More backlog progress today. I do love the shape of Gelgoog, and I have a fondness for Matsunaga's blue stripe livery, so this Gelgoog Jäger is going to look pretty next to his zaku. For a 25 year old base kit, it wasn't a bad build, though the poseability is very low.

It's my favorite boy this year, HG Gqux Red Gundam! Honestly the design really grew on me once I saw it in motion, and while the show fell a bit flat this boy still has my heart. Yamashita's alt-UC designs are almost grotesquely beautiful adaptations to Okawara's originals and they're so charming.

More backlog progress, this time the MG Guntank! This kit was a delight to build, with all sorts of gimmicks that don't show on the fully armored model and a lot of others that are mechanically neat but cannot be practically displayed. 10/10 yippee model kit

When I was younger I dated a hypno domme who was really into mecha stories and now being into big sexy robots has gotten me back in the orbit of hypno dommes and I think that's wonderful.

The decal backlog gets a little shorter! Finished rewatching G Gundam while putting the last decals on this one. I really enjoy the way some of the stickers accentuate the shapes and existing panel lines, but applying over 100 different shaped stickers (often in duplicates) is a pain in my ass.

What's better than this, finally clearing the decals on RG God Gundam while rewatching the tournament arc of G Gundam. I love building RG kits but my decals backlog is a week long because of them lol.

Taking an aggressive approach to the backlog. It's been a while since I did a WfM kit, and I forgot how nicely and simplu everything comes together. Desultor is everything Jeturk has moved on from- it's charmingly generic, bulky without being overly so, and it looks outdated in a good way.

Sat on this kit for a while but finally got around to finishing the HG Rozen Zulu. The particular plastic for the darker parts of the kit is a pain and creates stress marks out of nowhere, and the INCOMs are a hassle with the disk space held up only by hopes and dreams, but it was a fun build.

Other circumstances aside, I'm glad to have a little time to work on building a little guy again. I don't like the Shining Gundam enough to get the new RG kit, but the local hobby shop had an old HG that'll be perfect for posing with the God Gundam when it's finished.

I know my bit has just been posting little plastic models but the American medical system is so ass, I would be better off chewing on all these microplastics and hoping to get superpowers than run through the same months long drawn out diagnosis process a fourth time for this same issue.

This is it, the kit that breaks me. I've done sleeves kits before and gone back to paint them during the detailing phase, but I am fully going to paint this as part of assembly because even applying this many edge trim stickers as placeholder would drive me to madness..

Built one of my favorite mobile suits, and probably the oldest HG kit in my roster, designed way back in 2005. I just love this evil flying donut.

Today's backlog project, Man Rodi from IBO! I love this cute little turtle guy, he's so chunky looking. The HG IBO kits that I've built all have this weird brittle feeling to their plastic for some reason that I can only describe as cheap? But they're like half price HG kits, so... I guess it fits?

The other kit from today's attempt to suppress the backlog, AoZ's Woundwort Psycho-Blade Custom. I love the design language of the AoZ kits, even if they feel a little intimidating for how fiddly they can be when coming together. I really love the Woundwort especially, though!

Aggressively tackling the backlog recently, since I've got a Peebs shipment that just arrived and another 3 kits from a USAGS preorder I made last August coming this week. This time, Beguir-Beu Torche, Kenanji Team! Honestly, the BB is my favorite WfM design, and this one was a treat.

Had a small calamity today when the stand that was supporting my RG Sinanju failed and it tumbled off the top shelf, taking out a few HG kits on the way down and disassembling itself quite thoroughly on the floor. Lost the hand of a Jesta Cannon, but otherwise all accounted for..

Got to go see the Gquuuuuux compilation in theatre with some friends and had a great time. We were the only ones in there, so those among us who were gundam knowers got to hoot unashamedly at the screen. Looking forward to what this series is working with so far.

My girlfriend bought us Gunpla-kun kits to build together. It's a cute little kit and goes together very quickly, but the limex plastic is so soft I was worried about scratching it the whole time, and nip marks were a pain to clean up. It does look cute and novel on the 'G' runner stand though.
