Nothing changed visually, but we're now running on SLD3 and SDL_GPU! I need to think of how I'll release this game, and I think a web version would be cool so let's add multiplatform support to the engine and then I'll be adding a web platform with emscripten. Not a lot of visual changes tonight, but I optimised and refactored several things, I have now a solid framerate for the "classic tunnel" on bigger resolution! The issue is that I now have to work on the input system.. and I don't want to ='( #gamedev #gameengine

Yesterday I wanted to implement a procedural dithering inspired by @curseofremy.bsky.social 's work but I was to tired. So I did it first thing after waking up! Didn't even got my coffee yet! #gamedev #gameengine

Ok,slowly getting somewhere! I introduced more shapes, rotation, sprite loading, sprite conversion to the indexed palette the engine is using (the pico8 one for now), sprite rotation, sprite scaling. Now, I need to rework the input handling and then switch to cpp for the script! #gamedev #gameengine
