Here is my ornate sea shell for #inktober / #chatonktober 17. Couldn’t do it yesterday. As for today (18), I literally have no ideas (deal+castle) so I’m gonna rest on that one, maybe I’ll have an idea tomorrow and if not I’ll just skip it I guess. No point of forcing it. ^^

For today’s #inktober (blunder) and #chatonktober (dusk), I tried to not use any single line. I held my pencil on the side, almost full flat, and to only use shades to get the shapes of this bunny and cat. It was an interesting experiment!

Couldn’t do it yesterday so here is the 15th #inktober & #chatonktober match up. Ragged x Travel/Voyage. Somewhat of Crusoe cat. Completely missed the sea and sand rendering but tried something on the shading. Still a long way to go. ^^’

Ok so I tried something different for this 14th #inktober / #chatonktober. Had trunk and amphora. So I tried to make an amphora inside a tree trunk (with a little (barely visible) cat engraved on it). I wanted to use as few linings as possible and work on the shadow to get the volumes. Kinda hard.

13th #inktober and #chatonktober were Drink and The King. Again. A little blend. Not exactly what I aimed for at first and definitely som issues with proportions and process but it turned out funny enough.

Back on track with today’s #inktober (shredded) and #chatonktober (eggs). Yeah I know I might have misunderstood the assignment but I find it pretty funny ^^

#inktober x #chatonktober 11 were sting + musician. Sooooo… I didn’t have a choice. I tried some stuff with colors like the black outline with a papermate pen (a bit thin), the red cloak using alcool marker and the white being an acrylic like for blackboard haha. I’m quite happy with that one. :)

I’ve got a bit behind schedule these last days so here are my #inktober & #chatonktober. 9: cliff + heavy 10: sweep + inn Probably the worst inn ever though hahaha. I’ll do 11 and 12 tomorrow. Probably. Will see 😬

So again, I mixed both “reckless” ( #inktober) and “cachette/hidden spot” ( #chatonktober). Do you see it? I tried something I saw on YouTube for the bush but not quite there yet

Today took me quite a while. It was really challenging but I feel like I made some progress. Definitely not on shadows but heh hahaha. 7th day! Can’t believe I’m doing it. #inktober = starfish #chatonktober = lourd/heavy

Ok so today it was “Deer” for #inktober and “Génie” (Genius/Genie) for #chatonktober. I tried to mix them both again to create somewhat of an awkward situation. Didn’t work so much on the details are the poses were kinda difficult enough already. You can tell the Cat genie had a tough day x)

For today’s #inktober and #chatonktober I mixed both words (murky and river). I tried a slight myst with the side of the pen but not quite there yet.

Hey! We did quite well with our little #GMTK25 game, fallingleavesstudio.itch.io/dj-wizard . This was a very chill jam where we experimented a bit with mechanics and art style. A fun and relaxing week end!

The siren is something. Really something. The environment is beautiful and the music is full of emotion, like lots of details in this game. But the staging when you arrive down there. First the tunnel. Then the bridge. I had no choice but to just walk slowly towards, on that sad path. Amazing.

Continuation of the exploration - combat flow, when you try to access a crypt folder (red), you have to succeed in a combat in order to enter it. And that's now done. Next step: make the fights more interesting ! #godot #gamedev

Just finished #NightInTheWoods. I already knew it would be cool but I was surprise how great it was! Loved the narrative. Loved the art. Loved the music (could be a bit more present though). To sum up: a great game I recommend and I hope to be able to tell that kind of story so well myself too.
