A sad day. Drew Struzan was the artistic background to my world when I was a kid. If the movie had a Drew Struzan poster, it was a movie to watch. Still is.

After 3 movies and multiple redesigns, the 1982 Syd Mead TRON light cycle, with enclosed rider position…. Still the best.

Now trying to think of a movie, where the redesign of vehicles or ships for the sequels ended up being better than the original… Nothing yet. Still nothing.

Bit of a bad karma day today. Alienware laptop, just days out of warranty, corrupts the drive and fries the screen. I clearly must have crossed the streams last week. Karma balance now restored. Still, lesson learnt. Next laptop will be min spec enough, cheap and easily replaceable.

Brilliant books, with excellent 70s science fiction art by Foss, Elson and others. Classics. If you ever get a chance to flick through a copy… take your time and enjoy.

I really enjoy playing

Interesting and a good step - but as most e-readers are kindles these files would need to be compatible .... and they're not. Kobo is a much smaller part of the market.

Interesting to note, that with the industry push on AI at the moment, the AI in my books is a failing technology until they introduce a human sentience to stabilise and ‘drive’ the machine. Seems that I have the first part right, I wonder how long before we get the second part?
