Great to be in Brazil at the 29th World Federation of Therapeutic Communities. I was sharing how recovery communities decolonise contemporary structures creating heterotopias for change, growth and healing.

Growing up as a kid I often felt lonely and not always understood. I know firsthand the value of friendship and allyship in my own journey. I was so grateful to be presented with an award by Faces and Voices of Recovery Brazil for being a ‘friend of recovery’. Thank you so much ❤️
