STUMPS! The players are heading off for bad light and the umpires have called time on the day's play. A dream day for South Africa and they are now heavy favourites to claim the victory and a 2 - 0 series victory.

A sign of a team full of confidence - Bumrah is short and wide first ball, so Rickelton punches him through the covers for four. This feels like the perfect opportunity for some of the South African batters to go out and get some runs, under less pressure than usual.

The South African opening batters are back out in the middle, alongside the India team. Jasprit Bumrah will bowl the first over to Ryan Rickelton, with Aiden Markram at the non-striker's end.

Looking at the gesticulations of Bavuma, it appears that South Africa will bat again and look to build upon their lead of 288 runs, with over two days still remaining of this Test and the pitch still in decent condition.

WICKET! A sixth wicket for Jansen and India have been bundled out for 201. Bumrah is the final player to fall, skying an attempted pull that Verreynne safely pouches. A brilliant display from South Africa and Jansen in particular.

Vital runs for India, with Bumrah gloving another Jansen short ball down the leg side for four. The end feels nigh though, with Bumrah seeming determined to try and take the short ball on, despite it claiming the wicket of many of his teammates.

STAT ATTACK: Markram has become only the second South Africa to take five catches in an innings, after legendary former skipper Graeme Smith.

With Mohammed Siraj joining Bumrah in the middle for India's 10th wicket partnership, Temba Bavuma's thoughts must be drifting towards whether or not he opts to enforce the follow on. What would you do if you were in Bavuma's shoes?

WICKET! Jansen has his fourth Test five-wicket haul to go with his first innings 93. Yadav's 134 ball vigil comes to an end for 19, as he edges a Jansen delivery that moves away and bounces into the safe hands of Markram in the slips, who takes his fifth catch of the innings.

Some gentle away shape from Mulder in his first four deliveries with the new ball, causing Bumrah to edge just short of slip.

South Africa are opting to take the new ball, with Mulder having the first over, before Jansen will have a crack with it next over.

The second new ball is now available, with Jasprit Bumrah having now joined Yadav out in the middle? If South Africa take it, how long can the Indian tail survive?

India are still 295 runs away from parity with only two wickets left and the second new ball around the corner. How many more runs can they eke out for the last couple of wickets?

WICKET! Harmer makes the breakthrough for South Africa and Sundar goes for a well made 48. Sundar appeared to be caught in two minds about whether to go forward or back, and only managed to poke the ball to Markram at slip. The Indian tail will soon be exposed to the new ball.

The introduction of Muthusamy has seen Harmer change ends and replace Markram as well.

Yadav is continuing to prove himself to be a more than handy batter, when it comes to sticking at it and keeping the opposition out. He picks up another four with a leg glance off Markram and moves onto 19. Senuran Muthusamy replaces Harmer in the attack for South Africa.

There is a brief pause in proceedings, as Yadav receives some medical attention, after being struck on the glove by Markram.

Sundar climbs into a short delivery from Markram and moves onto 40. The four was India's first for 87 deliveries and Bavuma appears to be starting to think about shuffling his pack.

Yadav survives his 100th delivery, having added only 15 runs, in what has been a very impressive rear guard effort from both Yadav and Sundar so far. With so much time left in the game though, it feels as if India will need plenty more of what this pair have showed so far.

A quiet start after lunch, with just the two runs coming from Markram's over. There are 11 overs remaining until the new ball, which South Africa may hope to use to polish off this Indian innings.

The players are back out for the final session of the day, with Simon Harmer kicking things off for South Africa.

LUNCH! Another session that has belonged to South Africa has ticked by, with India still more than 300 runs in areas on 170 - 7. Despite their dominant position, they will still be hopeful of breaking this 50 partnership though, as both Sundar and Kuldeep are frustrating them.

India survive Jansen's return to the attack and barrage of short balls, with Verreynne doing well to gather a misdirected yorker off the final delivery from behind the stumps.

ansen, the difference maker for South Africa so far this session, is limbering up and readying himself to return to the attack. South Africa will hope that he can extract a similar amount of bounce from the pitch that he could earlier. Here he comes...

The partnership between Sundar and Kuldeep is now growing steadily and may start to become one that will frustrate South Africa. However, given how far ahead they are in the game and how long there is left, it is very difficult for India to exert any real pressure on them.

A loose delivery from Markram evades Verreynne down the leg side and races away for four bonus runs for India.

Yadav sets off for a quick single, but is swiftly sent back by Sundar, who had seen that substitute fielder Brevis was hovering menacingly.

Yadav picks up another four, edging Maharaj past Markram and down to the deep third boundary.

He is met with a gorgeous late cut from Yadav, guiding the ball past Dewald Brevis at third man for four. Yadav moves onto 7* from 44 deliveries and is showing some application that was potentially lacking from some of his teammates higher up the order.

Time for another bowling change, with part-timer Markram replacing Harmer, after a lengthy spell.

Yadav sneaks another single, although a direct hit from Bavuma would have been close there. India cannot afford a run out at this stage.

Verreynne skilfully kicks the ball onto the stumps, after another defensive stroke from Yadav, however - the Indian batter is safely in his crease. Yadav is doing a decent job here, with 1* from 27 balls.

Welcome runs for India in the form of four leg byes, with a wayward delivery from Mulder clipping Sundar's pads and trickling away for four down the leg side and out of Verreynne's reach.

A good decision there from umpire Richard Kettleborough, as the ball flicked the wristband of Yadav's gloves on the way through, thus negating the LBW shout.
