"...do...do you need help...?" It almost sounded to Cedar like it was a prison for her. One she could leave, but would always be drawn back to. "...I want to protect you," she finally says, "that's what I feel, and I feel like you need protecting right now."

"...do you know where your Pokemon are? O-or where home actually is?" She keeps her gaze on Sayori. Continuing her petting as she chats with her. "I don't know where my home is. Or my memories...or...well, um, like you said, a lot..."

"...w-well, I erm..." Want to protect her? That's what she wanted to say, but was that really the right thing right now? "...um, what are you still getting used to," Cedar asks, her thumb gently brushing against Sayori's cheek now.

Oof. There's that happy gaze that started as soon as Cedar brought Sayori back with her. It really did melt her heart. "U-um...ehe...y-you um...look really happy?" She can't keep her gaze off her now that it's actually on her.

Cedar is just used to Sayori wanting to be in physical contact with her. Her hand absentmindedly starts petting her as she sits on the bench.

She's growing pretty used to Sayori being around. It feels like a missing part of her came back, something really big in fact. ...oh, and her hair smells really nice. Must be all the flowers that grow in it, especially when Sayori's happy.

"W-we did...that's true. And we also um...we definitely did." Like they'd already done this song and dance before. Her small smile was noted, and also melted Cedar's heart. "...I didn't want to scare you by mentioning it, but...you're really pretty. L-like...really really pretty."

"...I erm...y-you um...do?" She can't keep the blush off her face. Sure they just met, but it feels like they've known each other forever too. "I...I like you too. Um...t-this is kind of sudden..."

Her cheeks start to burn, but she readjusts herself so that she can pull her tail around to rest in Sayori's lap. "Y-you erm...really like my tail, h-huh..."

"They're able to crush boulders with its big claw," she says to her, "but because it's so big, Kingler can struggle to lift it properly." That tail is wiggling behind her. She's just happy Sayori's here.

"I think we're both struggling with that...t-the more we talk, the more I'm sure." She smiles, thumbing through the documents before she comes across the page she's looking for. A page about Kingler. "They aren't native to this area, but..."

"You do? Um...what one is it?" She looks to the very pretty girl next to her. She still smells so nice...it must be the smell of her hair. "I've noticed that a lot of the Pokemon here are ones that thrive around lakes. Pokemon like Psyduck and Goldeen, for example."

"O-oh, I'm doing a bit of research for the Professor. She wanted a bit of data on the Water Pokemon that live around here." She scoots over a little to let Sayori sit next to her. "Do you want to look?"

The flowers definitely make Sayori look even more amazing. She's occassionally giving the other girl smiles as she studies.

Maybe that's the reason Wendy feels pretty today? Cedar's definitely noticed Sayori watching her all day.
