How would one translate 一応男だよ ? I mean, I generally know what the kanji mean, but the 一応 part can either go as 'for now' or 'technically' or 'roughly/pretty much.' This is something I don't want to make a mistake on in particular.

Has there ever been a 'fakeout isekai' manga/anime/game/story? Like, the protagonist is convinced into thinking that they were reborn from another world - but they really weren't. They might have knowledge from that other world (earth) but their soul/self was only ever born in the fantasy world.

Got my Windows XP rig working today, and tested that pesky VN I've been trying to get working on every computer I've owned for the past five years... and it got past the part where it crashes! It got into the actual VN bit! Now comes the possible project of hooking the text and remaking the game...

trying to get a certain VN working - it crashes every time in the same spot in the op movie. - ok, try it on compatibility mode - crash - try it on Windows 7 PC itself - crash - XP is next. maybe I can install XP-tan too I guess. And this is all with the disk of said VN that I ordered from Japan.

finishing up image editing for The Silver Tower - but what in the world does 槐夢 mean? The second character is dream, but the first refers to a specific sort of tree. At first I thought it was 愧, which would make sense in context - indeed, a "god" feels guilt after getting something he dreamed of.

trying to finish Silver Tower's tl. main game done, 1/2 through postgame. but I want to re-do Random Dungeon's. but I want to polish Zakuzaku some more. I fear the more games I translate the more I'll need to do aftercare for in perpetuity.

I'd say Zakuzaku is the gift that doesn't stop giving but I could have said that 80 hours ago, it's not any less true now though
