A "Your Year With ChatGPT" just popped up is this like a spotify wrapped 😅

When a chat session goes too long, ChatGPT does this weird thing where it takes your new prompt but then replays a bunch of actions from older prompts. Like reviewing code. It's like it gets lost in its own train of thought and starts having flashbacks.

Has anybody else had a problem where Windows 11 just randomly blocks Rust's cargo from building, with some unspecified Application Control Policy? Then if I run cargo clean and build again, it works. I've had it happen during cargo test and cargo bench as well. I have no idea how to prevent this.

I bet OpenAI could save itself a LOT of resources if they just let ChatGPT know what tools it has available in the sandbox instead of wasting a lot of time and ops discovering that it can't do something and trying alternatives. For example, "ripgrep". Preambles are full of realizing it's not there

I made a terrible mistake. I followed one of chatgpt's suggestions and I have now spent 2 days cleaning up the aftermath from implementing it, and it's very possible I'll have to revert to pre-suggestion anyway 😭

I started watching One Punch Man season 3, and couldn't make it halfway through episode 1. It really is that bad. They should just scrub this and pretend it never happened. Get another studio to start over.

So far model 5.2 has been a huge improvement over 5.1 and even when it makes mistakes I don't find myself wanting to flip the desk because how it handles the mistakes is pretty straighforward (and not the kiss ass responses I was getting from 5.1).

Given how much I have really hated model 5.1, I wonder if the nearly double "performance" of model 5.2 will make me hate it twice as much. Besides the timeouts & blackholed prompts & sudden dimentia that 5.1 experiences, what I really dislike is how eager it is to just do things without me asking

Today in chatgpt shenanigans: Had to yell at it to stop trying to introduce optimizations into my code that we already ruled out multiple times with extensive testing, which always resulted in performance degradation Reminds me of the "doctor my arm hurts when I do this" joke, "so stop doing that"

Chatgpt super glitchy today. More than once I've typed in a prompt and it started answering, threw some node error, refreshed and then both my prompt and the answer are just gone.

Just got a recruiter via dice reach out for an "AI Architect". Requirements: 6+ years in leading or achitecting AI solutions design scalable AI systems and integrate them into enterprise platforms data pipelines, vector databases, or RAG, MLOps tools, observability practices $90/hr lol. lmao

It's so jarring when you're having a flowing and consistent conversation with chatgpt and then out of nowhere it does something completely unexpected and not aligned with your project or expectations
