OpenAI has been screwing around with the Codex app/ui flow & now I'm having trouble opening it on my phone or on my laptop. Chatgpt codex really has a ways to go before it can be truly productive. If the main chatgpt had the same tools I need (Rust, ripgrep) then I'd just connect with git from there. There are these little annoyances that add up. For example, I can't copy/paste the results summary. 😒

A really useful feature in ChatGPT would be a "Handoff", which automatically starts a new chat session with a prompt with all relevant context and files once a session has reached its limit. Another usedul feature would be a countdown so you know you're approaching the limit.

Keep trying to like Codex but can't. I do like that it can access repos and make commits and PRs and has a lot more tools in its environment, but Something is off about its reasoning, and the flow is very jarring. It just wants to jump to making changes, no discussion, and makes a lot of mistakes.

It is really weird that Codex does not let you upload/attach files that aren't images. I'm confused by this design decision
