We have wrapped up the Fall seminars with a session of two talks on voting theory. Hector Hermida (Budapest University of Technology and Economics) presented “Self-equivalent voting rules” and Dimitrios Xefteris (UCyprus) presented “Efficiency in collective decision making via quadratic transfers”

Today we had Alexey Kushnir (Moroccan Game Theory Center) at our seminar series. Together with his co-author, they propose a pseudo-market mechanism w/ relevant properties to solve course allocation problem. Moreover, their simulation suggests that it outperforms the benchmark model. #econsky

Our group members participated in the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Spanish Social Choice Network, where members from different nodes of the network presented and discussed ongoing projects. It was a fruitful meeting, held this year at UIC in Barcelona on Nov 28–29. #econsky #socialchoice #gametheory
