A little of too many different things. Prefers being called a philosopher-in-making.

We love the mythology of the piece, and the gradual pacing that befits how the setting and the tone of the piece. Yara’s work is horrifying in that strange way that does not allow you to stop reading even as you know that something worse, much worse, is coming.

What secrets does your community hold? Yara’s dark
#fantasy
story talks about the darkness that lurks behind our windows, and how secrets can lie buried in ways that come back to haunt you. When that happens, what do you do? Read this one under the covers.

🇲 is for…mechanized symphonies! One of the pinnacles of 70s rock music, The Man-Machine delivers a
#scifi
punch 🎵 Tracks like The Robots and The Model paint a dystopian picture with synthetic melodies. We’re listening to the album this week. Let us know what you think?

We love the sensitive, yet forceful, rendering of the protagonist in the piece, someone torn between remembering and its horror, and the perils of forgetting and what that entails. And yes, add to that some poetry too.

Isn’t it odd that in loss, we feel proliferation… of grief? Nandini’s
#horror
story accounts for such loss with the powerful symbol of finding the absent person everywhere, so that an easy domesticity becomes transformed into confinement. Read this one in the present.
