Sometimes, it's easier to be sincere when you wrap your feelings in a silly package. You trick yourself into sharing more; you trick others into being comfortable enough to receive your feelings. idk man the star wars properties we get in the modern era all heavily rely on the nostalgia of older movies and as such are more for older fans who grew up with the franchise as opposed to newer generations going in with no context. say what you will about the prequels at least its a new story.
