Been having a real hard time getting momentum back for any kind of creative efforts these last few months, but I'm hoping to make some good strides today. Gonna see if I can't start a ball rolling that will lead to the next Ride On update being done within the next few weeks.

Coming out of a month of doing nothing but binging Abiotic Factor. I love the game a lot, but man, getting hyperfixated on anything as badly as I did for this game is bad for productivity. Gonna try and claw out of the labs and get back into streaming and coding soon.

It's a bit wild looking back on my anthology of sonas. From a Kirby to various Pokemon, to hybrid creatures and now a dragon. It's just curious to see how my identity has shifted over time. What has changed, what has stayed the same. And also, what I wouldn't mind revisiting as alts or one-offs.

Small update here, but Cobblemon: Ride On! v0.3.2 is out now! This patch should resolve a handful of issues brought to my attention within the last week, including dismounting from certain flying mon, crashes, UI issues, and issues with Dismount Entity! Plus a new debug mode for seating!

I'm also stunned to realize that, across all hosts, platforms and versions, Ride On has over 1 million downloads! It's been a delightful surprise finding out that so many people enjoy playing the mod. Thank you all for the support! I'll be looking into something special to celebrate this milestone!

A bit of a late post on social media, but v0.3.0 for Cobblemon: Ride On! is now available! - Mounting and dismounting rework! - Multi-seat riding! - Options for automatic camera switching! - Options for what factors apply for speed scaling! The update can be found on both Modrinth and Curseforge!

In other news, I had some free time yesterday, and so I took some of that time to make some banana bread from some overripe bananas we had in the house. It turned out VERY delicious. One of the loaves has not lasted a DAY, with how much we've been enjoying it!

Development work for Update 3 of Cobblemon: Ride On! is starting to wind down! There's a bit of work to do still, and then some final testing after. But if all checks out and there are no major showstoppers, the update should be out within a week!

Oh shit, history might be happening this month. If everything goes as expected, we might see the rise of a new yokozuna. The fastest one to reach the rank in only 13 tournaments (about 2 years). This is kinda big news.

It's a good sign when the brain juices are starting to flow again. Starting to get big urges to continue work on the next update for Ride On, and thinking of changes I may make in future updates. Maybe I'll get Update 3 done by the end of May as originally hoped.

So I'm going to try and use this account and actually post things more than once in a blue moon. Maybe it'll help me to take more pride in the things I achieve each day and help my confidence more. Or, you know. Better spread word of some of my streaming and modding activities. Either or.

Getting a little mad at how many huge plushies the Pokemon Company has been outputting as of lately. I want them so badly but I know my wallet would suffer and I'd not have a lot of room for them.

Now to just wait for the exhaustion from the last week to catch up with me and cripple me for the next couple days.

First day post move-in, and I'm in a great mood. Had a good day out with Salad and the folks, and they're supportive of me and Salad being together!

Well, it's official. I'm fully moved into the new place. All that's left is unpacking boxes and sorting things out, but that's going to be easy mode compared to everything before.

Progress on the move has been going well. In less than 72 hours, I should be with Salad and ready to start life together with her. My excitement is growing with every day.

Packing efforts started in earnest today. It's really starting to sink in now that I'm moving soon.

Forgot to share last night, but new round of katsu! It went a lot faster the second time around, and less were overcooked this time!

Another standout from the presentation that I just remembered? The new Joy-Cons can operate as mice, with Metroid Prime 4 being one of the games that can utilize that function. I'm both astounded that we can soon play a Prime game using a mouse, and eager to see what other games will benefit.

Just finished watching the Direct, and ngl? I'm kinda eager to see where they go with the Switch 2. Jury's still out on whether I'll get one at launch? The early price points are making me wince a little. But we'll see what else beyond Air Riders will sell me on it.
