A long time ago…in a galaxy far, far away…

This month’s art shelf is set 🤭 I’ve added some origami to the shelf. Last month, I had placed some boats I made as practice for something I did with my best friend. But this month, I decided to bring in some things I received from experiences in the Japan pavilion at EPCOT 🤩

I used to wonder if I was born at the wrong time and in the wrong place. I often felt out of place in the world. Now, I realize I am right where and when I am supposed to be. My uniqueness brings what is needed in the moment. The same is true of you 🤗❤️

I did not realize I did this at the time, but I realized this morning that I used one of my Animal Kingdom mugs on Wednesday; which was the park’s birthday 🥳 My heart was celebrating despite my mind being someplace else 🤣

I found myself in a college “bookstore” recently because the HUGE sign on the outside of the building said “Barnes and Noble” 🤔 My first clue I was not in a B&N was that there was school merch everywhere. The second clue was a lack of books. The third clue was that nobody offered me help 🤣

Sometimes, I can see what I need to do or where I need to go, but there is a mental block in my way. It’s almost like looking through a window that I cannot open 🪟👀 What got me thinking about this today is an art piece I’m *working* on. I have the vision…with my hands up against the glass 🤣

If I focus on all of the things I’ve missed out on in life that I wanted, I’d miss out on all of the things I do have. It’s okay to see what I missed. But I find contentment when I focus on what I’m given 🤗❤️

My LEGO Bonsai has lost all its cherry blossoms and has sprouted its leaves for the season 🤭 What’s beautiful on the outside is fleeting. What’s beautiful on the inside is eternal. I’m going to hold the beauty of each moment in my heart 🤗❤️

I made tacos with kimchi again this week. But this time I made 2 important tweaks. Last night’s kimchi came from my favorite restaurant, Zen Kitchen and Bar in New Port Richey. That’s a huge upgrade 🤩 I also went with teriyaki sauce to upgrade the flavor of the protein 😋

So, I was thinking… No matter how this week is feeling, I believe at least one important thing: You’ve got this 🤗❤️

So, I was thinking… I should let go of the things that aren’t meant for me. I should accept the things that are. And I should learn how to know the difference 🤗❤️

I think this is the first time I’ve celebrated my personal new year at two icon theme park franchises 🤔 Last week began and ended with some fun times 🤩

My LEGO cherry blossom bonsai is blooming 🤩 It will be like this until Friday 🤭 I love this season of the cherry blossoms 🌸 It’s a reminder to cherish the brevity of a moment 🤗❤️

Day or night, Spaceship Earth is beautiful 🤩 (This is the icon of EPCOT in Walt Disney World)

It was fun Disney Dapper Bounding as Figment at EPCOT for my birthday this past Friday 🤩 I also got to spend the day with my brother and niece 🥰 We didn’t plan it, but my brother also had Figment attire 🤭

I’m glad I haven’t booked a trip to Paris 😱 I read somewhere that Olaf will not be greeting guests 😭 He’ll just be in shows and greeting the elites. But…when I’m a trillionaire, I’ll buy Disney and then Olaf will greet guests instead of the elites 👹 The “news” of this made me sad. But I get it…

If I only focus on the problem, the problem is all I’m going to see 👀 Let’s look up and look past the problem 🤗 and have a terrific day ❤️

I got a little lost along the way. But due in part to events in my personal life, I have found my way back to things I love. If you feel a bit lost, maybe it’s time to dive back in too 🤗❤️

Hiiiiiii…I’m Greg! And I like warm beverages 🤭

After sharing the delight that is sauerkraut on a taco, two of you asked, “Greg, you fantastic foodie friend, what about kimchi? Would kimchi go well on a taco?” 🤔 Yes, yes it does 🤭

GEO-82 is a nice lounge. I went there a few Saturdays ago. I didn’t feel the theming was “Disney.” But it does feel “EPCOT.” I enjoyed some time working on an art piece while having food and drink. A very relaxing atmosphere 🤩

My second favorite moment yesterday was sitting in the rain. At first, it was lite enough to just sit there without an umbrella. When it began to pour, the umbrella came out and I began to walk and dance in the rain. A rainbow soon followed 🤗❤️

I enjoyed my first experience at The Beak and Barrel in Magic Kingdom (Walt Disney World) last weekend 🤩 It was fun being a *pirate* for about half an hour 😂 Arrrrrr 🤭

Today, I’m reminded I cannot breathe coffee 🥴 I also learned that I have the ability to make sure the coffee goes back into the mug and not all over myself 🤔

Not pictured here: Someone having a bad hair day 🤭 The power of a positive perspective is well worth pursuing in the less than perfect places we often find ourselves plummeting into 🤗❤️

The faces of a Monday after a time change 😂 I hope your day is magnificent 🤗❤️ I’m doing well with this time change. I was able to prioritize my sleep. I know that isn’t possible for most. Warm hugs to all who are impacted 🤗❤️ (especially the pets whose food schedules are off 😂)

Now that Disney has an interactive Olaf audio animatronic that can walk around, it seems like a good time to ask for Perry the Platypus 🤔

I’m looking at a pretty amazing person 🤩 You’ve got this 🤗❤️ (And to be clear, I’m talking about YOU…you are amazing 🤩 Even if you don’t feel amazing, you are amazing 🤭)

The coffee and toast hit a little different today 🤭 This winter has been a bit rough. But this week feels better 🤗❤️

Two things I said in person today… You woke up today. So you have everything you need. Just not everything you want. Tears are the fire extinguisher that put out the flames in your heart that are destroying you. So it’s okay to cry. Speaking to them…and myself 🤗❤️

It’s okay to be sad. And it’s okay for the sadness to remind us of what makes us happy 🤗❤️

Long story short, I did not have chicken tacos last night 🤣

I went to my favorite restaurant for lunch today and was immediately given warm hugs. Literal hugs that made my heart so happy ❤️ I really needed those hugs 🥰 If you are ever in the New Port Richey area, please drop by Zen Kitchen and Bar 🤗❤️

Olaf has a new pal to hang around with 🤭 My parents gave him to me for Valentine’s Day 🤩

Lately, I’ve been choosing my daily coffee mug with intent. Today’s choice came about because someone was asking about this exact mug on a Disney World facebook group yesterday 🤭 Someone I don’t even know inspired me today 🤩

You don’t have to be “the” best today. Just be “your” best for “today.” That may look differently from yesterday and tomorrow. Growth doesn’t look the same everyday. You’ve got this 🤗❤️

I had been craving the fish and chips from the UK pavilion at EPCOT. So, I had some on Saturday. Sadly, it was two thirds batter to one third fish 😕 Oh well 🤷‍♂️ The rest of the day was two thirds great to one third disappointment. So, overall a good day 🤭
