No! The criticism of the Dems isn't that they never win elections, it's that they don't use power to solve the problems that got us here. Elite impunity, concentration of wealth, the unitary executive. Winning is only step 1

I received this email about Democrats caving to end the shutdown from one of the SNAP recipients I spoke to:

It’s hard to imagine a worst outcome. Yesterday’s surrender by the democrats proved that both major parties in the USA were willing to pass this CR. Only, the Dems wanted to inflict 40 days of additional suffering on top of it.

I think Super Mario Wonder’s online co-op multiplayer is everything wrong with today’s society.

Let’s be honest, it could have been some dumb asshole who shot into an ICE van without thinking it could be filled with immigrants. Regardless of motivations, can we all agree that no one really trusts the FBI anymore?

Calling out hypocrisy only works when the person being called out actually believes what they say. Save the emotional energy. Calling it out is not the gotcha you may think it is. Because they know. Call it out if you must, but don’t waste energy. We need energy for things that actually matter.

This is from a Channel 5 (YouTube) video titled Poor People’s Army from 8 months ago. About 14 minutes in. The citation is incorrect, but worse the edited version removes the context of her message. About 14 minutes in:

I question the usefulness of drawing parallels of current event to those in the past. I worry people may without realizing it be implicitly bundling the outcomes of those event with it.

Days like today remind me of how much good there is in life in my little pocket of life. I wish everyone could be as privileged as I feel right now. Thank you everyone who make my life filled with so much love and joy!

Not enough people talk about how good “Black and White” was, and how barren the god-like pet sim RTS genre has been in recent years.
