Sudbury is at the centre of mining & mining innovation. We’re home to over 300 mining & mining supply companies, 9 operating mines, 2 mills, 2 smelters and a nickel refinery. We’re home to talent and investments valued across the globe. We had a chance to showcase just this to Minister Hodgson.

In Sudbury, we’ve seen record overdose calls, shelters stretched to capacity, and front-line workers facing trauma every day. These organizations told me that funding ends, but the trauma doesn’t. This bill gives Parliament a chance to recognize that truth and act on it.
