Strange to have whole days where I’m very worried about my country and what’s happening to it peppered with normal mundane thoughts like “Are the bananas ripe enough for my toddler yet?” and “Time to test the color temperature on this TV.” Feels all the time like having to be multiple people.

And there it is: Russell Vought is confirmed. I wrote a long profile of him, his worldview, his political project: He’s one of the architects of Project 2025, an avowed Christian nationalist, and a radical ideologue of the “post-constitutional” Right. He is at war with pluralistic democracy.

Why is my Bluesky experience right now reading very frightening news about our nation’s economy/political situation and someone saying like “This is a cold, crucial call to immediate action to defend our democracy” and their name is like BigBuster25 and they have a weird muppet pfp

Platted 4. The Blue Magic mechanic in 5 seems slightly tedious but I like the story so far

President Trump has promised a “colorblind and merit-based” society, while also aligning himself with those who are brandishing the term DEI as a catchall for discrimination against white people, and using it as a pejorative to attack nonwhite and female leaders as unqualified for their positions.

I’m about halfway or so through IV. Dreading farming the summon drops to finish things out but at least it requires zero mental effort. The last two weeks have been so draining

As of today I have Platinumed the first three Pixel Remasters and it’s on to number IV. I think I played it some years ago but I don’t remember much about it.

Please play disco elysium. Like not to be dramatic but it's a really important piece of art and I'm sure some part of you will change after playing through it. I don't know what the truly moral means of consuming it is and I'm kind of at the point that I don't care just play it if you haven't.
