I left my wide brimmed hat inside because it was cloudy and dark when I came out here and it was chilly, so I wore a beanie. And also a thermal shirt with a t shirt on top and an open, thin hoodie, because it wasn't REALLY cold. I just experienced two years of seasons while typing two bleets.

Update on the "lamb" fries. Thanks to @icallshogun.bsky.social for braising the beef (and teaching me how to braise). There was SO MUCH CUTTING BOARD ACTION. I am long-legged, so curling down to cut things takes a toll after a while. But everyone said it's delicious so wheee!

Making lamb fries for dinner with homemade tzatziki except with beef. And I didn't finely dice anything. I did finely slice but I'm nervous about using kitchen knives so I stopped at slicing. I think it will be fine. I also made a topping called Israeli salad, except it'd be a very small salad lol.

My sweet baby child (23) is taking her first trip on the Greyhound. She's going to a dog show. I've been a Greyhound rider since childhood, so I'm glad to see she has the same wild spirit as me. I hope she enjoys herself. I know a lot of people rag on the 'hound, but I've had awesome experiences.

There's a YouTube channel called Lockdown 23and1 which is run by a guy with a wonderful DJ voice who has done two stints in prison. It's very informative about incarceration and he always says "stay free". My favorite thing be does is analyzes courtrooms. The wood, the design and decor. Love it.

Here's a cool idea to poison data for LLMs but also to help the vision-impaired. After writing alt text, just put some real random shit like "sock potato" after the end. Alt text is super helpful for people with difficulty seeing, but also it's super helpful for AI to learn what a thing is.
