Onward to Midnight! Decided to make a post of my mains for each class going into this next xpac. Troll warrior and shaman, blood elf warlock and DH will be my main focus. The warrior is my usual main while the warlock was my main from BC-BfA. Glad both fit the expansion very well.

They should let me play Midnight at midnight. They won't but they should. Otherwise I gotta wait til after work to see beautiful Zul'aman.

Random thought I had: but the elven use of glaives is actually a cultural carryover from their troll roots. Very few races consistently use glaives outside these races, and their primary method of us in WC3 (a mid range thrown weapon) is shared amongst all of them.

These glaives are going to decimate my tenders in March. But I'll finally be able to live the dream of using a glaive on my warrior.

Adding minor details, including tribe banners, battle stains, a sun symbol in the middle of the arena, and some edits to the throne. Really need a Darkspear, Drakkari and proper Zandalari banner though to match the Sandfury and Amani ones.

I just saw a flock of seagulls. Which might not be that weird for a lot of people, but I am nowhere near the ocean and it's currently snowing a ton. So really not expected. You maybe see one or two every few years but a whole flock in a snowstorm is new.

Spent some time crafting and gathering while recovering from a headache. The result is my alter now has sand, and Zandalari fences going the entire way around it. Need to farm a ton of war supplies next for benches and other details.

Really wish there was a mining mount similar to the herbalism shredder ones. DF and TWW spoiled me by letting me gather while mounted and it's hard to go back.

I think I'm starting to understand the structure of the head enough to draw it better consistently. At the very least it doesn't look like a child's drawing every time I draw the face, which is a huge improvement.

Probably an impossible ask, but if Blizz ever rehauls character customization they should: -Fold allied races back into base races when applicable - Make an effort to include similar races already in the factions with the base race (taunka) -Have class specific customization when applicable.

I think I'm going to tear apart most of my Alliance house's inside and just use it for ideas until saving rooms comes out. I have too many troll ideas and my Horde house is too set up the way I want it to be to justify tearing it apart again. But I haven't done much at all with the ally one.

If anyone says you can be replaced by a robot just laugh at them. Our cleaning robots get bested by a wall regularly. It can't figure out how to not ram into it and get stuck. Any time spent offloading work to it is spent babysitting its dumb ass. And it costs way more than I do.

Back when I was in college for anthropology I flirted with the idea of writing an analysis of the Dunmer or Dwemer and turning it into a professor as a joke. My life was too chaotic to follow through with it at the time, but I'm very happy to see other people doing similar with worlds I love.

I got the last rarespawn hydra in Nazjartar The key was to complain about it then play cookie clicker for 2 hours waiting for a spawn. Now I just need the god awful double rare spawn to complete the meta.

I basically only have to kill 2 rare spawns and I will be done with the BfA meta. The problem is they're both in Nazjartar and the rare spawns there are made out of pure spite for the players.

I have survived another child's birthday celebration. But I am in tremendous shoulder pain as a result.

Was able to grind out housing level 7 and add 2 more rooms to my warlocks house. It's really coming together now. Once Midnight releases officially, I will become unstoppable. Then I'll need the save room feature to come out so I can demolish it all and build a troll one.

Today's a very opportune time for Amani lore lol, apparently they added an additional Zul'Aman lore tablet to the Midnight Lore Hunter achievement. This might be the longest lore book I've seen in the game, with a VERY extensive chronicling of Zul'Aman's history via Zul'jin. 🧵

Is the "cataclysmic lumberjack" achievement not working for anyone else? I have it, but it keeps dismounting me to harvest lumber. I tested in both Uldum and Twilight Highlands.

I didnt realize you could preview stuff in your house before you get it. Is that something new they just added or was I just oblivious?

Really wish the housing cap from endeavors wasn't so low. I can't do much in my current rooms until Midnight comes out and I get more elf stuff. But I have plenty of ideas for more rooms. I'm only about 800 xp away from the next level but I really don't want to grind 80 new items.

My Dracthyr's little hoard is finished. I leveled like 3 DF professions to get to this point today.

I tried giving the Blizzard standard UI a chance but I'm not really feeling it. Is there an addon everyone is using these days? I used zperl for the longest time but it got nuked with Midnight. Or did those kinds of addons just go extinct?

My youngest has reached the point where he's so tired he wants to sleep early, but is too tired to actually sleep. Thus creating a feedback loop of extreme crankiness.

The entryway to my blood elf warlock's manor is coming along nicely. Need Midnight to get here already so that I can get the blood elf fountain and statues for here too.

Wrathion may never be aspect, and I'm sure that's upsetting to many people. But you know what would be a perfect substitute for that? Making him leader of the Uncrowned. It would be perfect for him to take the position if his adoptive father Jorach is killed or steps down.

I still need to eventually grind the Nerub-ar rogue belt, gloves and fist weapon, but this is much closer to how I wanted him. Also the glaives hide when sheathed which makes him look way better when casting. Just don't think this means I'll give up on true playable Ethereals Blizz.

Just found out you can still buy last seasons aspirant stuff even though its not shown in the transmog collection. My Ethereal will finally get his correct colors.

I think people who write the "cycle of violence" thing never really understand it. They get the first part where violence begets violence, but they act as if everyone just hugging at the end solves it. No, you have to often look inward and take action that might even ostracize you from your group.

I noticed there's a lot of those previously unobtainable Dragonflight shoulders and tabards now in the transmog cataloge with the name "Skymaster". I assume that means they'll be new rewards for the Outland/Northrend/EK and Kalimdor racing cups?

"Void elf" DH successfully leveled. Timewalking plus the multiple massive XP buffs really makes quick. Unfortunately it will take time to get his true Ethereal mogs, but until then I found a decent Kareshi Trust themed workaround.
