In response to comments from US officials that “UNRWA will have no role in Gaza’s future”, UNRWA USA led a letter signed by of 104 organizations to the Trump administration insisting on the inclusion of UNRWA in the eventual recovery and reconstruction of Gaza. Excluding UNRWA is not an option.

Half of Gaza’s population are children. On World Children’s Day (November 20), we can’t talk about children’s rights without talking about the children of Gaza. Children who haven’t just lost access to school, but the basic foundations of childhood itself.
