getting nostalgic for my own work a mere year ago. it's weird. usually i don't like looking at my old work, but that little jleague mascot fighting game silliness i was doing at the start of 2024, that was really fun to do. most of 2024 was a burnout cycle and 2025 was just... yeah.

yeah i'm not dead. here's some ocs in the works. i have been so like... artblocked that getting anything off the ground was a task in of itself, so i'm glad to get the ball rolling on something recently.

Almost forgot, but here are the rides I used for the remaining #TXR chapters. I was already using the Chaser for post game early access. I'd normally pick Toyota over Nissan, but I was already figuring the R35 would be good endgame. And I realise my cars are kinda NFS Pro Street coded lol.

well here's a sketch using the new tablet. okay, the black line sketch underneath was with the mouse but i figured i'd give it another go with trying to do a different head angle and work from there. also sketching rising seaman's shark because of course i am. i've also never drawn a shark before.

Well I guess I'll be playing the rest of TXR now that it's out. I was planning to start afresh, but eh, I'd rather do another run for that. Hopefully NG+ doesn't somehow lock me out of the undefeated cheevo so I can hundo it again.

So I ended up buying a tablet to hopefully transition from a mouse to that for my artwork, and after some trials and many errors, I honestly still think I prefer the mouse lol. Like, I do feel like I'm way more precise with things using a mouse, but I don't know, it's still early days.

some experimentation with rendering. usually i wouldn't share yet, but 99% likely to not post the finished results onto here but it'll be on my fa when it's ready. anywho, i've been rendering with a bristle on some work for others, but i wanted to see how it'd look on these.

that wip aside, I realise that my art posting onto here has fell off a cliff. I still post onto FA like usual, but I only felt like posting specific sorts of art onto here. however, i feel less compelled to post anything at all here, especially after the recent prundency prevelation 🙄

After checking, this doesn't actually occur in the March build, which is interesting because that's where the snippet came from lol. I guess it was planned but not properly implemented yet. There's a lot of interesting things in that build that I'd love to document, but it crashes Xenia on load :(

Something I totally overlooked but is a neat detail in the Surf's Up game: if you play as Cody with his default board, it'll be an ice block only when playing the Shiverpool stages.

Some art / redesign of my other sona that I don't really put to use all that much, but I like having her at least exist in a way that I think looks good, hence the redesign. ...and it's been a while since I shared stuff here, so here. #furryart

Enlightenment will soon be mine lol. No joke though, this is the first PSP game I've had "new", as all others were preowned or "fell off the back of a truck and onto the MemoryStick" :) I am on the look out for a GBA copy but I'm not gonna hold my breath on that one.

I couldn't find any information online about it, despite accidentally unlocking one mode by chance, I figured a way to force the Animation Viewer and Jukebox modes in the Surf's Up GBA game lol, detailed in the alt text. Also figured how to select the regular penguin, but it leads to a crash 🐧
