The Monster Kid plushie is adapted from a plush I made for a personal project. One interesting change is that we used knit instead of sewing fleece together to form stripes. I'm not familiar with the limitations of knit production, so it required some compromises and experimentation to make it work.

The Corrupted Storch plushie from Signalis is available at Fangamer! Despite how simple it looks, it has a deceptively complicated construction. That's because the stripes are actually cones, with each strip of fabric curved slightly differently in order to achieve a soft tapered candy-corn shape.

Here's the Broken Vessel prototype, from the Hollow Knight game. This plushie presented unique balancing and asymmetry challenges, as I wanted to preserve their hunched, sickly in-game posture. The second picture includes an even earlier prototype, when they had a more tentacle-like body.

Once upon a time, I prototyped these Hollow Knight backpack clings. Fangamer still sells them, but we haven't made any more plushies of this size. That's because, even though they're much smaller, they're not proportionally cheaper or easier to produce than a full sized plushie.

Here's a series of Pokemon plushies I made oh... 14 years ago! They're one of a kind and feature a lot of fun elements, like polymer sculpted eyes, internal wires, and real feathers.

I prototyped the official Astrobot plushie from Fangamer! That was about two years ago; more recently, I had heavy involvement with the Kratos version of Astrobot. I didn't prototype this new version, but I oversaw the turnaround art and the sampling process.

This is Defect from Slay the Spire. Unfortunately, this plushie got cancelled, so it's not available for purchase. Too bad; it had some neat pattern details. Like the three necks and the asymmetrical embroidery on the body that had to be carefully placed to avoid going over any seams.

I prototyped the Cerberus plushie that you can buy from Fangamer! He is a chonky boy by necessity, in order to fit all those heads onto his body. He has paw pads and a bum hole. Please enjoy these pictures, including in-progress pics and an earlier version where I gave him too many heads.

I prototyped the Dusa plushie from Hades! The final plushie has much shorter snakes. I only made one prototype and, expecting it to need revisions, I stupidly did not take any construction photos like I usually do. I had to go back and draw my whole wacky process to teach the factory.

Another older prototype, this is Ironclad from Slay the Spire, which used to be available via Fangamer. An earlier version of him has fur for hair, before we switched to a more sculpted look.

I used to work at an interior design store, using expensive fabrics to sew luxurious pillows. I often kept the excess fabric+trim to make my own creations. The first 2 pics are customer orders. The last 2 I made with a devore technique on silk-rayon velvet, burning out Windfish and Kraken designs.

Once upon a time, I prototyped the Wolf from The Liar Princess and Blind Prince game. I rather like how elegantly balanced the Wolf is and how nicely the limbs rest in relation to each other. I don't believe this plushie is available for sale anymore.

If you're sending gifts to Canada, here's a few tips: There's a postal strike now! If you send via USPS, they give it to Canada Post, and it'll likely be stuck until the strike is over. Don't use Fedex! I get hit with $20-50 fees! For receiving gifts! Why?? It looks like UPS is the best option.

I'm the prototyper and designer of the Frog Cat Hat included with the Deluxe edition of Little Kitty Big City! Unlike a lot of cheaply made, single-layered cat hats, I made my hat fuzzy and with an inner layer of batting so it'll look good when worn by any cat.

My chickens broke into my garden and are having a great time dust bathing. Fortunately, I haven't planted anything there yet. But HOW DARE!!

I prototyped the Toriel mitts! The most important thing about oven mitts is safety and functionality, which we made a priority. Regular stuffing can't be used, so any kind of loft we were able to create in the mitt is achieved through many layers of heat-proof insulation.

Metroid in Japan: Nintendo stores were selling King of Gamers branded Metroid hoodies, T-shirts, and shopping bags, but KoG is notoriously expensive. And here is a cute hand-drawn Samus used to advertise a used Super Metroid cart in Mandarake.
