A full five months later an eagle eyed reader spotted a glaring inconsistency in The Light Between Us. Should be fixed on the new version I just uploaded. Also finally managed to fix a weird spacing issue in one particular sentence of the Ebook version.

Finally finished Soundbooth Theater’s version of Kaiju: Battlefield Surgeon. As a relative stranger to litRPG I wasn’t sure this would be for me, but the horror elements were top notch and often got my gorge up. And the emotional payoff at the end was more than worth it. One hell of a ride. #booksky

I, like many, was raised to share, to have empathy, and to always try to treat everyone with basic respect and human kindness. Which is why it is so goddamn infuriating to reach adulthood and come to the realization that most with power not only do not share these values, but actively resent them.

Just finished Mike Bockoven’s “Fantasticland” and it certainly left an impression, and not just because I’m a sucker for horror stories set in theme parks. Not sure if i resonated with every part, but those I did were brutally haunting. Worth a read. #booksky

Spent three hours today clearing out my bookshelves and packing away an entire tote to make room for more books, only to discover so many books hidden behind others that my shelves are still full. Which is a long way to say that if there is ever a house fire me and my office will go up like napalm.

I’m never renting a car from Avis ever again. After waiting in a line for two hours we’ve now been told to sit and wait in a hot garage until someone goes and gets the car, and that is expected to take another two hours. We prepaid, so we can’t just go elsewhere. This is utterly unacceptable.

Trying to write when one of my supervisors checks in to let me know how deeply disappointed he is in me. Not sure I can handle this pressure.
